Military show: January 11, 2017: Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar

Kris is doing another concert with the AFCENT band tomorrow, January 11, 2017, in Qatar at 8 PM Arabia time (Noon Eastern time) for the 379th Air Expeditionary Wing. (He posted the mysterious photo above on his IG page.) The only other thing we know about this show is that the band tweeted that it will be livestreamed on their Facebook page.

Kris has been journeying (which you can follow via his Instagram) to the Middle East for some military appearances. This one appears to be open to the public. Details are sketchy (two different times have been listed), but the event's Facebook post states:

Join us post brunch by the pool at Nahaam and listen to "HyperSonic." Guest artist in attendance will be American Idol 2009 winner Kris Allen.
The group is a country/rock showcase group incorporating members of the US Airforce Heartland of America Band.

Kris is touring various U.S. military installations in Portugal and Italy June 28 through July 4 to entertain the troops and their families. He's done this before for the USO; this tour is sponsored by Armed Forces Entertainment. The last of the four shows he is doing is at Aviano Air Base in Aviano, Italy. This show is part of an Independence Day celebration and is open to the Italian public if they got their names on the list by June 18! Last year, this event was attended by 4,000 people.

I'll be maintaining a rolling twitter list for this tour, but doing separate show posts. No worries, you won't miss a thing. Do not expect a lot of media though.

The third show of the four shows he is doing is on Thursday evening in Vicenza, Italy (west of Venice in northeastern Italy). This show is part of an Independence Day celebration and is open to the public!
