Kris hasn't played Cleveland since his Christmas tour with Jim Brickman in 2016, and he hasn't played a headlining show there since 2014, but he's bringing the Somethin' About Christmas tour to them this year! Don't miss it, Ohio!

Updated December 3, 2018: Thank you Kathy for the videos and lakeeriemama for the photos! Check them out after the break! Looks like a very festive show!

Idol Tour 2018: September 9 and 10: Kris comes home to Nashville and then back out to Dayton

We are in the final ten days of the tour now! I'm so excited for Kris to play the historic Ryman, even if it is as host of the Idol tour 2018. After a stop in his adopted hometown of Nashville, the tour heads back out to Dayton, Ohio.

September 9: Ryman Auditorium, Nashville, TN - Nashville is just always a city that never shares video.

September 10: The Rose Music Center at the Heights, Huber Heights, OH (Dayton area) - some video; not much

Updated September 13 with a little from Nashville. Not much.  But some good stuff, especially for Idol 2.1 fans.

Appearance: June 5, 2016: Cincinnati, OH

UPDATED AFTER THE PERFORMANCE:
Screenshot by @ISBinLA
Just a heads up that Kris Allen will perform God Bless America during the 7th inning stretch of the the Cincinnati Reds v. Washington Nationals game this Sunday, June 5. The game is in Cincinnati and starts at 1:10 PM eastern. [Ticket link here if you want to go in person and live tweet and video for us!]

TV/Radio Viewing Information:
I'm told that the MASN network is available in a number of places and that there's a fairly good chance FSOhio will air the 7th inning stretch.

Kris, of course, is a huge baseball fan and a great choice for your professional league sports game entertainment, having done the anthem over the years for numerous NFL, NHL, MLB and NBA events. Now if he would only get into my favorite sport, tennis. He'd be great for Arthur Ashe Kids' Day at the US Open!

Anyway, I thought it would be fun to grab a few videos from his previous appearances at MLB games.

Enjoy, baseball fans! I'm not doing a twitter list for this, but will update this post with photos and videos from the appearance.

Tipp City, OH

Kris on at 5:45 pm EDT

Show and List Preview:
Kris is one of the featured performers for this brand new festival! Although, I'll be honest, as a General Hospital and Nashville fan, I'm kind of psyched that Jonathan Jackson is in it too. The other day my work BFF asked me if I thought Lucky was going to stay a long time on GH this time around, and I said, nope, he's got a tour and a show with Kris! (I have to admit, that made her laugh.)

Anyway, this festival looks like a great way to spend a Saturday if you're a fan of good indie Americana, country and/or folk-pop music. The festival is in the Dayton, Ohio metropolitan area. Click the links above for tickets and line-up info. One note: KAB will not be performing with Kris; instead he'll be backed by Donnie Reis' band.

Updated: It was a good show for Kris! I hear It's Always You was a highlight. Unfortunately Jonathan Jackson wasn't as "lucky" as a bad storm suspended his show. Post is updated with set list and media (tons of videos and photo albums) after the break..

Kris performs a lunchtime show for Cleveland State University students (free food with student ID!). Several students will open for him. My guess is that this will be pretty informal so if you're in Cleveland and you just happen to stroll onto that campus plaza.... As far as the list goes, Cleveland State kids seem to tweet a little more than Rockhurst University ones.

Unfortunately, this is during a workday and I may be very busy at the time of the show, so I may not be able to add any last minute flaily tweets to the list. Sorry.

Pre-Show/Event Press and Publicity:

Throwback Thursday: June 25, 2011: Kris Allen and Kris Allen Band perform at the ALIVE Festival, Mineral City, Ohio

Every Thursday we take a look back at Kris' career via video.

One show that remains fondly in the heart of many Kris fans is his 2011 appearance at the Alive Christian Music Festival. It may not sound like it, but this is an honest to goodness rock music festival and Kris and band delivered an amazing set for which many fans traveled from afar! They looked fantastic, had a blast with a lively crowd and were so amazing that three years later, fans are reminiscing about how much they enjoyed that show.

So here is a video of their set closer, Come Together! Check out that catwalk!

And for fun, here is the KAB playing some wiffleball before their set:

Finally, for more ALIVE Festival memories, check out:

Enjoy!

p.s. Don't forget that we are putting the final touches on Kris' birthday plans! Make sure you sign the group card tonight by 11 pm Eastern! And if you are going to his 6/21 show in Michigan, PLEASE let me know by tweeting @KrisAllenLists to put you on the live tweet list!

Throwback Thursday: Is It Over, Dayton, OH 9/1/10

Every Thursday during the in-between times, we take a look back at a fun Kris video of yore.

Summer is drawing to an end. As a self-professed summer girl, I have to ask "Is It Over" (Cheesetown, I know.) This time of year, I'm in the mood for a sultry summer evening, with plenty of guitar and a good crowd.

So here's kmt8871's video of Is It Over from Labor Day weekend 2010 in Dayton, Ohio. This was the tour with Maroon 5. Lots of Andrew for the Andrewberts!

Enjoy! And if you are going to see either of Kris's shows this September (see Kralendar below for dates and places), please let me know to add you to our Twitter lists!

List: April 5, 2013: Jimmie's Ladder 11, University of Dayton, Dayton Ohio

April 5, 2013
Jimmie's Ladder 11
Presented by Campus Concert Committee
University of Dayton
Dayton OH

9:30 PM EDT

Opening Act: Lauren Eylise

The Spring leg of the Out Alive Tour starts tonight in much-neglected Ohio, at a show organized and presented by the University of Dayton in a local campus pub, Jimmie's Ladder 11.

Although it has been primarily promoted by the Campus Concert Committee, it is open to the public, and we do have quite a few temporary townies for a day (cough *regular Kris fans* cough) going. The Facebook list was pretty long as well, full of students, which is great.

Updated: This was a great list! Here's the set list post with many video links!

Flashback Friday! Festival Time!

We've started a new thing to pass the time... Flashback Friday! Every Friday we'll take a look back and check out a video to catch up on the Out Alive Tour. Plus I'll try to give you a bonus video - maybe one that got overlooked or one that is just worth watching again.

For our Out Alive Tour catch up, let's go check out one of the many videos shot by the lovely @ameeliu - just because it's her birthday today and she is one of the most awesome Kris Allen fans out there!

For the bonus video, as you know, Kris is at South by Southwest this week for a showcase tomorrow! I thought it would be great to go back to the last time he played a music festival - that would be the Alive Festival in Ohio, in 2011. So here's another video by @ameeliu - Falling Slowly/With or Without You - that is just stellar from that show.

Enjoy! And be sure to check out the South by Southwest Festival Post with its embedded twitter list - Kris' show is tomorrow night, March 16, 2013!
