Idol Tour 2018: August 30 and 31 and September 2: Kris Allen Plays Montana for the First Time (?) (and Utah and South Dakota too) with the American Idols

The tour heads back across the country again! What's cool is that Kris is going to play for the first time ever (as far as I've been keeping track anyway) in Montana! It's your chance! They're also playing Utah, where Kris has done a few shows over the years.

(Update: Unfortunately, can't find any Kris media from the Montana show! I've added the 9/2 South Dakota show to this post in an attempt for South Dakota to pick up Montana's slack.)

August 30: Alberta Bair Theater, Billings, MT - Nothing. Crickets. If you were there and took a photo or video of Kris, please share with the world.

August 31: Dejoria Center, Salt Lake City, UT - A few videos.

September 2: Deadwood Mountain Grand, Deadwood, SD - Two nice sets of videos!

Kris is on a month-long acoustic tour with his good friends in the pop rock band Parachute. Parachute, who is fantastic about fan service, is letting their fans vote on their set list. See the post for Kris' expected set list. Kris has keyboardist Andrew St. Marie in tow and he is sharing a bus with Parachute. Crowds are arriving early, so if you're going - this one is sold out, go early to line up.

The tour continues Saturday night with a sold-out show in Salt Lake City, Utah. Information for this specific show can be found after the break!

Kris and company have taken a long bus ride from Seattle to Salt Lake City to bring the Out Alive tour to In the Venue (yes, that is the name of the venue). Note that Salt Lake City is in the Mountain time zone - see the time zone converter to the right to figure out your time.

The list tonight has a lot of new names - not sure if they are seeing him for the first time, but unlike certain "best coast" cities that gave me a headache last week, they are actually tweeting about their excitement in advance which makes this lister's job easier and happy! So I would NOT expect many "during show" tweets - this crowd, I suspect, will have a bunch of pictures to post after the show along with their flail.

As always, I ask for respect for the people on the list - and if they post something you don't like, please just scroll on by.
