Kris is partying for the Fourth of July on the third of July in the city of Bettendorf, Iowa. This is one of the Quad Cities and on the border of Iowa/northern Illinois.

Updated 7/4/2017: What a great set list Bettendorf got, including a premiere cover! And the return of American Girl, which apparently KAB only plays in cities that don't do media. Hopefully some videos will pop up but for now we have some photos and a full set list after the break.

Preview:
Kris is on a month-long acoustic tour with his good friends in the pop rock band Parachute. Parachute, who is fantastic about fan service, is letting their fans vote on their set list. See the Phoenix post for Kris' set list. Kris has keyboardist Andrew St. Marie in tow and he is sharing a bus with Parachute.

The tour continues Wednesday night in Des Moines, IA. I couldn't remember when Kris last played Iowa, but it was last year. Hopefully we'll get more media this year. Information for this specific show can be found after the break!

Updated 4/26/2017: A radio station did host the soundcheck (which has a better set list so what's up with that Kris) and that we do have videos of! Plus some other photos and a nice review of the show, plus Kris' Yelp review of a Des Moines Greek restaurant. You'll find them in the post after the break. But...

Kris plays the annual festival at Iowa State University known as Veishea on Friday night. According to Veishea's FAQ, it is "an annual celebration held at Iowa State each spring, and one of its oldest traditions. It serves as a showcase and display of the Iowa State community with a wide variety of educational and entertainment events. ... The word VEISHEA (pronounced "VEE-sha") stands for:

• Veterinary Medicine
• Engineering
• Industrial Science
• Home Economics
• Agriculture"

In other words, it's a big old college party!

Kris plays along with Jana Kramer, Easton Corbin and Andrew Allen.
